From Brendon We heard lions roaring during the night and as we listened they seemed to come closer and closer. When we got up this morning we could hear them but they were moving away so we rushed out and found their tracks. While following the lion tracks we realised that they had moved quite a distance, and as we were deciding what to do next we came across Salayexe, the beautiful female leopard. She was not far from her bushbuck kill and we were totally thrilled to see her again. Salayexe was patrolling her territory and we joined her as she moved steadfastly around the perimeter of her area. We captured some lovely photographs as she climbed termite mounds, looked around cautiously, sniffed suspiciously at some bushes and scent marked others.
