Einstein Monkey

I traveled to a remote national park in the state of Piaui, Brazil to see and photograph these amazing Brown Capuchins who are the only monkeys in the world to use stone tools to crack open palm nuts as a favourite food. They use particular stones as "anvils" and then spend years during adolescence learning to crack nuts with harder "hammer" rocks that weigh almost as much as they do.

What an incredible experience it was to watch these little Einsteins !
