Photographing wildlife under normal conditions is difficult enough but when you remove the one key factor which photography revolves around - light, it becomes near impossible to get good results.

At Elephant Plains we are faced with these difficult conditions daily. Our safaris are aimed at helping photographers achieve award winning photographs under these trying conditions.

In this image I combined the 3 light sources - ambient, spot and flash to achieve this lighting effect.
You can use any one of these light sources or a combination of any of them to achieve results.
The trick is to know which lighting to use under the conditions you are presented with to get the best possible results from the scene you are photographing.
