I have recently had the privilege of spending 5 days at Elephant Plains with Wim and Greg of ODP Safaris and I have nothing but good things to say!I am not a wildlife photographer, but avidly follow the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, etc, and this week was the closest I have ever felt to being part of a Wildlife documentary!
Both Wim and Greg gave excellent advice through the whole trip, and their knowledge of nature and animal behavior is amazing. The rangers and trackers we had didn't miss a beat, finding the Lion pride, the wild dogs, Leopard, Cheetah, Wildebeest, Elephant, etc, etc... Even a small 20cm tall owl in pitch black night, sitting in a tree!
I doubt that I will ever go back to the Kruger National Park after this trip. I have never experienced true "Africa" as I did during this trip!
